NewJeans 'Get Up' Is Well Received by Pitchfork...Higher Rating Than Taylor Swift's Album

(MHNSPORTS Hyeonha Jeong reporter) NewJeans 'Get Up' was reviewed in Pitchfork, U.S. Reviews.

On July 24 (local time), Pitchfork gave NewJean's EP 'Get Up' a 7.6, the second highest score among all K-pop albums, calling it "NewJeans is one of the most exciting K-pop acts working today."

This rating is higher than Taylor Swift's album (7.5).

Pitchfork estimated “Their music is noticeably laid-back, defined by gauzy sonics and diaristic talk-singing; their music videos and choreography eschew aggressive cuteness and imperial pomp—the K-pop standards—for down-home bonhomie.”

And also, “It’s this cozy intimacy that makes NewJeans thrilling; their music lowers your guard,” it reviewed.
